Snow Days

We have had three days in a row of snow days! The first day all the kids wanted to get out. I thought I must use the camera on my snow setting and take a few pictures. (Jon thought I should have left the settings alone.) Anyway, I think Braden, Calvin, Dawson, & Emmi are still adorable snow children!

Big Brother

Emmi adores her brothers and they are all very helpful! I couldn't resist the picture of Braden giving Emmi piggyback rides around the house! It reminds me of the days when my brothers did that for me and took me everywhere! (My sisters did, too, it was just different with big brothers.)

Goggles

I forgot about the goggles I bought on clearance, intending to put them in stockings! The boys liked them for all of five minutes. However, Emmi loved her goggles! She wore them through dinner and wanted to wear them to bed! She even asked for her "purple goggles" when she awoke in the night! (Try to make it through dinner without laughing at your serious daughter wearing purple goggles!)

Christmas Grins

My sister gave Emmi and Dawson these two spinning horse lights for Christmas! They can be quite mesmerizing! The two of them kept coercing any willing relative into my brother's bathroom to see them in the dark! This is a picture of the two in our pantry posing for a picture or two!

Beginning to Blog

Why did I give in to blogging? I have a couple of friends in my small group that blog. I check on them every once in a while. Anyway, Jon bought me my own digital camera for Christmas! As I was thinking about mass emailing all my family with the cutest pictures of the kids, I thought about the benefits of blogging. I can just post and you can just look if you want to or not. We are also adopting a Basque student this summer through our church. I thought it might be a way to connect beforehand without Facebook. Facebook seems a little more impersonal to me. Here goes! Enjoy!
